Character
aT Center is a business-focused convention venue built around exhibitions, trade activity and meetings, with a strong institutional link to Korea’s agro-food and export industries
The tone is practical and event-led. The building changes character according to what is occupying the halls: a trade fair can make it feel like a temporary marketplace, while a conference day pushes most activity toward registration desks, meeting rooms and scheduled sessions. Its identity is therefore grounded in the business taking place inside rather than in a fixed visitor experience
The experience
The building is designed for volume and flexibility. Exhibition Hall I is a 3,793-square-meter floor that can be divided into two spaces and accommodate roughly 189 standard exhibition booths. Conference facilities range from smaller meeting rooms to a grand conference room for several hundred people, allowing organizers to combine a main event with parallel sessions
For visitors, the event name matters more than the venue name. aT Center hosts unrelated exhibitions, seminars, trade programs and private functions, so the useful information is the hall, floor and registration point listed by the organizer. The surrounding Yangjae area is well connected and the center sits immediately by a subway exit, which makes short business visits relatively straightforward
History
Construction began in 1998 and the center was completed in September 2002, opening in November that year. It was developed as an exhibition and convention facility tied to the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation’s trade and export-support work
In 2012 the center adopted the current aT Center name. The “aT” identity links Agro and Trade, reflecting the institution’s role in using exhibitions, international fairs and buyer activity to support agricultural and fisheries exports. Over time, the venue has broadened into a general convention and exhibition site while retaining that trade-oriented institutional character

Check the organizer’s event page before traveling. aT Center is the venue shell; admission rules, registration, opening times and the correct hall are usually determined by the individual fair or conference
The venue is close enough to the subway that taxis are rarely necessary for a standard visit. For a large exhibition, allow extra time for registration because queues can form even when the building itself is easy to reach

- Sinbundang Line Yangjae Citizen’s Forest Station, Exit 4; the official center says Exit 4 is connected with aT Center, while Visit Seoul lists the venue about 60 meters away
