Woongjin Playdoci Waterdoci
A large Bucheon indoor waterpark paired with a natural hot-spring spa supplied from 1,300 metres underground
Wave-pool swimming, Space Ball and body slides, children’s water zones, hot-spring pools, Bade spa and sauna
A roughly 7,000-pyeong waterpark-and-spa complex, mostly indoors, with separate waterpark, slide, hot-spring and sauna operating zones
Waterdoci is strongest as a two-speed indoor leisure day: high-energy slides and wave pools share one complex with a genuine deep-source spa
The same ticket moves from waves to hot spring water
Waterdoci combines an indoor waterpark with a spa supplied by natural hot-spring water drawn from rock 1,300 metres underground. The active side has an artificial wave pool, lazy river, children’s pools and nine slides; the quieter side shifts into warm pools, a Bade pool, children’s spa and sauna facilities
The waterpark and hot-spring spa occupy roughly 7,000 pyeong, most of it indoors. That scale makes the change of pace physically noticeable without requiring a second venue. A family can spend one part of the visit in moving water and slides, then use the hot-spring zone under the same admission system
The spring itself is mildly alkaline sodium-bicarbonate water. Waterdoci’s name is attached to the leisure complex, but the 1,300-metre bore gives the spa a real geological source rather than a themed warm-water section
The slides have their own clock
The slide roster includes Space Ball, a Zebra body slide about 90 metres long, a four-lane Rainbow Slide and smaller children’s slides. They sit alongside the wave pool and other waterpark areas, but the slide zone operates on a shorter daily window than the general pools and spa
That matters more than the attraction list suggests. The pools and hot spring can already be operating while the major slides are still closed, and the sauna can remain open after the water areas finish. The building therefore changes character across the day even though everything is indoors
For younger children, the zones are physically different rather than just differently branded. Dolphin Kids Zone uses child-sized slides and water-play equipment in a shallow pool, while Splash Kids Zone adds overhead streams and splash features around sea-life theming. A separate toddler pool keeps the smallest swimmers away from the large slides and deeper wave pool
Tiger World became a different leisure complex
The current company dates to December 2009, when the former Tiger World complex reopened as Woongjin Playdoci after acquisition and renovation. At that time the site combined an indoor ski slope, golf practice and waterpark facilities
The present operator now foregrounds the waterpark and hot-spring spa alongside its large golf range and other family facilities. For Waterdoci specifically, the durable identity is water: a large indoor waterpark paired with a genuine deep-source spa in a dense Bucheon urban setting
That combination also explains why the place works differently from a summer-only waterpark. Weather changes the demand, but most of the core water and spa experience sits indoors and continues through the year under seasonal operating schedules
Before you go
The main internal timing difference is between the general water-and-spa areas and the slide zone, which has a shorter operating window. Early time in the building can therefore be dominated by pools and spa before the large slides start, while the sauna extends later than the water attractions
