Hyundai Motor plans to introduce more than 100 new models globally by 2030 as it broadens its electrified lineup and keeps its long-term sales targets intact. The company presented the strategy at its 2026 CEO Investor Day in Seoul on August 26.

Hyundai is maintaining a target of 5.55 million global vehicle sales in 2030, with electrified models expected to account for 60% of the total. The product plan includes further expansion at Genesis, Hyundai Motor Group's luxury brand, as the company competes for higher-margin demand in hybrid and electric vehicles.

The bridge between hybrids and EVs

A key near-term step is the launch of a range-extended electric vehicle, or EREV, next year. Hyundai has been using a wider mix of powertrains to manage uneven EV demand across major markets while still moving toward electrification. The new product schedule gives investors a clearer view of how the company intends to pursue that transition without abandoning its existing volume ambitions.
