The Culture Ministry has set a goal of expanding Korea’s broadcasting, streaming and creator-content industries to 30 trillion won by 2030 under its latest medium- and long-term plan. The initiative groups traditional broadcasting, online video services and content creators within one growth strategy as viewing and production increasingly move across platforms.
The target gives the sector a clear policy benchmark, while the details of financing, regulation and industry support will determine how much of that ambition turns into measurable growth.
