Shinhan Bank says personal and credit information belonging to about 25,000 customers was exposed after an unauthorized outside party accessed some services abnormally. The leaked data included names, phone numbers, linked identification information, annual income and lending-limit data used in loan applications. The bank says it will fully compensate customers for confirmed losses, while the Financial Supervisory Service is investigating the incident.
