Employees who leave are scheduled to receive unpaid wages, a holiday bonus and severance pay in a lump sum on November 14, with retirement set for October 31.
The move is intended to reduce fixed costs and improve business viability, while workers at stores in Daegu are also reported to be concerned about continued employment and delayed pay.
