Actor Lee Yong-joo, known to many viewers for playing the awkward new recruit in tvN's military sitcom Blue Tower, died on Saturday at age 44. Multiple Korean outlets reported that he died of a heart attack.
Lee began acting after working as a model and appeared in films and television dramas including Hello Franceska, Princess Hours and Rude Miss Young-ae. Reports said a funeral altar was set up at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital, with the funeral procession scheduled for Monday morning.
