Hwasun County is recruiting 15 households for a housing program that helps newlyweds and multi-child families cover mortgage interest. Eligible households can receive up to 250,000 won per month for as long as 36 months. The program applies to qualifying homes in Hwasun priced at 600 million won or less and purchased between October 2025 and September 2026, with applicants also required to pass housing-finance screening.
For newlyweds, the marriage must generally be within seven years and both partners must be 49 or younger; couples preparing to marry can also qualify. Multi-child households need at least two minor children, including at least one child aged 12 or younger. Applications are scheduled from Sept. 1 through Oct. 16. The policy is a small-scale program, but it directly targets the monthly financing burden that can influence whether younger households remain in the county.
