Daegu City Council’s construction and transport committee visited the planned TK New Airport site in Gunwi and called for initial project funding to be reflected in the national budget. Members also asked for stable financial and institutional support and said they met local residents during the site visit. The appeal comes as Daegu seeks to move the airport project from planning toward construction.
