Government-backed discounts on domestic farm and livestock products have been extended through September 30, a week longer than originally planned. This year's Chuseok discount-support budget totals KRW 149 billion, up sharply from the original allocation. Traditional-market Onnuri gift-certificate refunds are also covered during the extended period. Nonghyup is adding its own funding on top of the government program.
