South Korea plans to supply 1.19 million public-sector homes by 2030 under a new housing-stability plan. The government also aims to raise the long-term public-rental stock to 2.5 million homes and push the public-rental share into the 10 percent range.
Officials say the plan will broaden support as household structures and housing needs change. Delivery will depend on where projects are built, when applications open and how eligibility rules are implemented.
