Seongnam City set its 2027 living wage at 12,900 won an hour, 380 won higher than this year's rate. The amount is about 21 percent above the national legal minimum wage for 2027 and equals 2,696,100 won a month at 209 working hours. About 2,500 city employees and workers at city-funded or contracted organizations are covered when the new rate takes effect on January 1.
