Galaxy Corp. officially opened Galaxy Robot Park in southeastern Seoul on Aug. 21, turning humanoid robots into performers rather than industrial equipment. The roughly 16,500-square-meter venue combines physical AI, live entertainment and interactive experiences, and had already attracted more than 20,000 visitors during its pre-opening period.

Inside the Robot Arena, humanoid robots perform synchronized routines to K-pop songs including BIGBANG's 'Bang Bang Bang,' Rosé's 'APT.' and tracks by Yena and Momoland. The opening program also paired robots with human performers for taekwondo demonstrations. Elsewhere, visitors can control robot dogs, interact with machines and watch robots perform tasks such as drawing portraits or serving food.

Galaxy Corp., the entertainment-tech company that manages artists including G-Dragon, is betting that robotics can become a new content format. CEO Choi Yong-ho said the company sees the combination of entertainment and physical AI as a potential next wave after K-pop, and plans to use the Seoul park as a base for expansion into the United States, the UAE, Japan and other markets.
