BIGBANG has opened its 20th-anniversary world tour with a three-night run at Goyang Stadium, putting the group back on a full-scale Korean concert stage after years without a comparable group show. The current lineup of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung used the ‘XX: COSMOS’ production to move through the group’s catalogue, solo stages and its new anniversary material, including the digital single ‘BiiiG.’ The Goyang concerts are the starting point for a much larger 2026-2027 tour rather than a one-off anniversary event. According to the group’s announced schedule, BIGBANG is set to play 33 shows in 19 cities across North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia.
That makes the 20th anniversary a new operating phase for the group: live activity is expanding internationally at the same time as new music has returned to the release schedule. The comeback also carries symbolic weight because BIGBANG is now working as a trio after a long and complicated transition from its original five-member formation.
