BIGBANG has indicated that its 20th-anniversary music activity may extend beyond the newly released digital single ‘BiiiG.’ During the group’s Aug. 23 concert in Goyang, Daesung and Taeyang raised the idea that ending the anniversary cycle with one song would feel too limited, while G-Dragon responded that he already had further plans in mind. The exchange was not presented as a formal release announcement with a title or date, so another single or album should not yet be treated as confirmed. It is nevertheless a meaningful signal because BIGBANG only returned with ‘BiiiG’ on Aug. 19, the group’s 20th debut anniversary, after a long period without regular group releases.
The hint also came as BIGBANG launched the 2026-2027 ‘XX: COSMOS’ world tour, which is scheduled for 33 performances in 19 cities. Taken together, the tour and the members’ comments point toward a broader anniversary cycle rather than a brief nostalgia project. The next concrete indicator will be whether YG Entertainment or the members announce another release while the international tour is under way.
