NCT 127 is turning the final night of its next Seoul concert into a large international cinema event. The group’s fifth concert, Neo City: Seoul - The Redline, runs from Sept. 18 to 20 at KSPO Dome, and SM Entertainment says the Sept. 20 performance will be shown live in cinemas around the world.
The scale is unusually broad for a concert livestream. Yonhap reported that the show will reach 1,030 cinemas across 40 regions, including Korea, Japan, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Thailand and Malaysia. That gives fans who cannot attend the Seoul dates a synchronized theater experience instead of a conventional home stream.
Concert distribution goes global
The cinema rollout also extends the promotion cycle for NCT 127’s seventh full album, BLINGY, released Aug. 24. It shows how major K-pop tours are increasingly combining arena shows with global live-viewing distribution to expand access without adding another physical tour stop.
