Mamamoo has cancelled its Jakarta concert scheduled for September 19, citing unpredictable local safety conditions after volcanic activity in Indonesia. Agency RBW announced the cancellation on September 11 and said the decision followed discussions with the local promoter, with the safety of the artists and audience taking priority.

Why the Jakarta stop was dropped

RBW pointed to continuing uncertainty after the eruption of Anak Krakatau on September 4 and to strengthened local safety and security measures. The report said volcanic ash spread toward the Jakarta area and that eight major Indonesian airports were closed in the aftermath. Those conditions made it difficult for organizers to predict whether the event could proceed safely.

The cancellation affects the Jakarta stop of Mamamoo's 2026 world tour 4WARD. Former BIGBANG member T.O.P also announced the cancellation of an event planned for the same day in Jakarta because of local circumstances. For fans with travel and ticket plans, the immediate issue is now the promoter's cancellation and refund process, while the wider tour continues to depend on conditions at each stop.
