BTS has moved to the top of Pollstar's cumulative global touring revenue ranking for the third-quarter reporting period, according to Big Hit Music. The group's ARIRANG world tour ranked first in the figures released by the concert-industry publication.
Pollstar's calculation covered tour activity from November 13 of last year through August 12. The ranking places BTS ahead of other major international touring acts and gives the group another commercial benchmark beyond streaming, albums and chart performance.
Why touring revenue is a different benchmark
Tour revenue is a particularly useful measure for a group operating at global scale because it reflects the ability to fill venues across markets, not just the size of a digital audience. It also captures the economic reach of a tour through repeated ticketed events rather than a single release week.
For the Korean music industry, a top global touring position reinforces the importance of live performance as a major export channel. Concert tours generate activity around venues, travel, merchandising and local promotion while keeping artists visible between recording cycles.
The ranking is cumulative for a defined Pollstar reporting window, so it should not be read as a permanent annual title before the full year closes. The next comparison will be whether ARIRANG retains its lead as later tour dates and competing acts enter the year-end totals.
