SM Entertainment says it has filed criminal complaints over illegal AI-generated images using Lim YoonA's likeness and false information spread with them. The agency said it is collecting evidence through fan reports and monitoring, and warned that creating, posting or redistributing manipulated material can lead to legal action.
SM separately announced staged legal action against malicious posts targeting aespa's Winter, including defamation, insults and sexual harassment. The company says it will pursue responsible users in Korea and abroad without settlement.
