Incheon plans to restart cashback for its e-eum local currency on September 21, 68 days after the benefit was suspended because the budget was exhausted. Korean reporting says the cashback rate is expected to return at 10% of eligible spending.
The city is considering a temporary monthly spending limit of ₩1 million through the end of September, followed by a ₩500,000 limit from October through December. The restart is timed just before the Chuseok holiday period, giving residents a direct reason to check the final city notice for eligibility, limits and participating merchants before the benefit resumes.
