Suwon and police have activated a joint traffic and safety plan for the October 4 reenactment of King Jeongjo's Royal Procession. The Gyeonggi section covers about 12.1 kilometers across Anyang and Suwon, making road management a central part of the event.

Traffic restrictions will be staged as the procession moves through the route. Closures are expected to begin in Anyang in the morning and continue later around major Suwon locations including Suwon Sports Complex, Janganmun and Haenggung Square.

What residents should know

Authorities plan advance detour notices and joint on-site management. Residents and visitors traveling through central Suwon should allow extra time and check local traffic guidance because road access will change through the afternoon and evening as different sections open and close.
