KTX tickets will become bookable two months before departure instead of one month under a nationwide change starting October 1. The Transport Ministry says the longer window better aligns rail planning with flights and accommodation, which are commonly booked earlier. When the expanded booking calendar opens in October, travelers will be able to reserve Christmas and year-end KTX seats sooner than before.
