Gyeongbuk Development Corp is recruiting tenants for 42 rental homes in Yeongju’s Gaheung-dong, including units for young people, newlyweds and households with newborns. Base rents are set at roughly 30% to 50% of local market levels, and Yeongju will cover another 50% of the rent for eligible residents.
Applicants must be members of households without a home and meet income and asset requirements, with stays of up to 30 years depending on the unit type. The program turns a small housing allocation into a substantial monthly-cost reduction for households that qualify.
