Daegu plans to launch its D-Pass public-transport discount program next March as part of the city's new administration agenda. Residents who spend at least 45,000 won a month on public transport would be able to receive up to 10,000 won back each month.
The city is preparing the legal basis through an ordinance revision and plans to link D-Pass with the national Modu Card system. Public comments on the ordinance are being collected before the remaining implementation steps.
