KTX tickets are now available two months before departure, moving up the booking window from one month. Tickets for a December 24 train open at 7 a.m. on October 24, while December 31 services open at 7 a.m. on October 31.
Under the new rule, tickets for each date open at 7 a.m. exactly two months in advance. The change also puts renewed attention on no-show bookings, with 1.95 million unused seats recorded during the past five years of holiday travel.
