From October 1, drivers who mistakenly leave a public expressway interchange can avoid the basic 900 won toll if they re-enter through the same toll station within 15 minutes. The exemption is processed automatically when the vehicle passes through Hi-Pass, but it applies only to public expressways and is limited to three times a year.
Vehicles leaving through a private expressway toll station are not eligible, even if they return immediately.
