Third New Towns face speed push with 90% construction goal

President Lee Jae-myung called for faster progress at the Third New Town project sites, setting a goal of starting construction on 90% of the planned developments by 2030. During a visit to the Incheon Gyeyang site, he said housing policy should be judged by actual move-ins rather than construction starts alone.

Gyeyang is scheduled to begin its first move-ins in December, making delivery speed a key measure of the plan.
