The special prosecutor team investigating the National Election Commission plans to send about 700 disputed ballots from the June 3 local elections for detailed forensic examination as early as next week. The review may be assigned to the National Forensic Service or the forensic planning office at the Public Prosecution Office headquarters, and may also include related equipment.

The disputed ballots were identified during public verification of about 2.47 million ballots conducted on October 28 and 29, while 420 boxes containing ballots found without irregularities were cleared during that process.
