President Lee Jae Myung’s approval rating fell to 42 percent in Gallup Korea’s latest survey, down three percentage points from the previous week. Negative assessments rose to 50 percent, up five points.
Gallup surveyed 1,001 adults and reported a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence level. Real estate policy was the most frequently cited reason among respondents who rated Lee negatively. The result marks a new low in Gallup’s series for his presidency, but it remains one survey and should be compared with other polling before drawing broader conclusions.
