Gyeongbuk’s latest school-violence survey found a 2.7 percent victim-response rate, down 0.2 percentage point from the previous survey and below the 2.9 percent national average. In Chungbuk, separate reporting put the rate at 3.0 percent, the highest in four years, with the increase particularly pronounced among elementary pupils.
Together the regional results show that headline averages can move differently while younger students remain an important pressure point for prevention policy.
