Jeju Air will keep its Incheon-Jeju domestic route operating through March 27, 2027 and increase service from two flights a week to three from November 2. The extension preserves an additional link between Jeju and the Seoul metropolitan area's main international airport rather than forcing all domestic passengers through Gimpo.
The route resumed in May and carried about 11,600 passengers through August, with an average load factor of 87.1 percent. Roughly 3,500 of those passengers were foreign travelers, suggesting the service is also functioning as a connection for people arriving through Incheon who want to continue directly to Jeju. The extra weekly flight increases capacity without turning the route into a daily service.
For travelers, the benefit is convenience rather than sheer frequency. A direct domestic connection at Incheon can reduce an airport transfer across Seoul, especially for international arrivals, but the limited schedule still requires careful trip planning. The next measure of demand will be whether the three-times-weekly pattern holds its load factor after the autumn travel peak and into the winter schedule.
