Korean product-safety regulators found hazardous substances above permitted levels in nine of 76 tactile toys tested. The survey covered both KC-certified children’s products and items marketed for users aged 14 and over, and some products contained preservatives that are prohibited for the relevant use. Authorities said the findings will lead to corrective action and give parents a reason to check affected products and safety notices.
