Seoul police are investigating a woman in her 50s accused of placing a recording device under a cafe table to eavesdrop on singer-actor Cha Eun-woo. Police said she was caught on August 30 while removing the device from a cafe in Yongsan Ward, where Cha had been meeting an acquaintance.
Investigators suspect the same method was used twice during the month. They are examining her phone and whether anyone else was involved.
