Police received 105,327 dating-violence reports nationwide last year, the first time the annual total passed 100,000 and an 83.8% rise from 2021. A protection system is now operating that can show a victim the offender's location and movement on a phone when the person enters a designated radius. The government is also moving to formalize temporary protective measures and expand electronic monitoring in the second half of the year.
