Foot-and-mouth disease has been confirmed at another cattle farm in Yecheon, bringing Gyeongsangbuk-do’s total to nine cases this year. The farm has 98 Korean beef cattle, with the disease detected in 10, and is located 2.3 kilometers from a farm where the disease was reported on September 2.

The case was identified during surveillance testing for lifting the quarantine zone, while South Korea’s total has reached 14 cases, including three in Incheon’s Ganghwa and two in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
