The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has referred 170 people suspected of ticket scalping to investigative authorities, marking the first such action since amended versions of the Performance Act and National Sports Promotion Act took effect. The case covers suspected illegal resale of performance and sports event tickets under the revised legal framework.

A referral for investigation does not establish wrongdoing, and each person’s legal responsibility will be determined through subsequent investigations and judicial procedures.
