A sexual assault case involving a teenage part-time worker in Ansan has been revived after prosecutors indicted the 40-year-old owner of the bar where she worked. The Ansan branch of the Suwon District Prosecution Office said the owner was indicted without detention on suspicion of quasi-rape over an alleged incident on December 28, when the worker was reportedly too intoxicated to resist.
The case had previously been closed by police for insufficient evidence, but prosecutors said a review included analysis of original CCTV footage, a mobile phone forensic examination and medical consultation after the victim died following notification of the police decision.
