South Korea’s state-led compensation system for humidifier-disinfectant victims began operating on October 8. At the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute in Seoul’s Eunpyeong District, a victim’s family was seen filling out an application. Victims can apply to the government for compensation through April 7, 2027.
