A National Assembly audit has raised concerns after the names of 543 patients appeared in an audit report published by Kyungpook National University Hospital. The hospital reportedly covered the personal information with black markings, but the original names could be revealed by copying and pasting the covered section elsewhere.
The issue has renewed scrutiny of the hospital’s handling of patient information following a separate case last year involving the deliberate disclosure of 3,976 patient records.
