South Korean biopharmaceutical company Celltrion reported provisional third-quarter operating profit of 510 billion won, its first quarterly result above the 500-billion-won threshold. The company disclosed revenue of 1.5 trillion won, up 45.8 percent year on year, while operating profit increased 69.2 percent.
Both figures represent quarterly highs in the company's history, according to the October 12 report. The numbers are preliminary and may be refined when the final quarterly financial statements are released.
