ChildFund Korea, the Export-Import Bank of Korea and the central youth-support service network signed an agreement to provide assistance to young family caregivers and socially isolated young adults. Dong-A Ilbo reported on October 13 that the scheme is backed by 500 million won in Export-Import Bank funding.

The plan extends support beyond the young person's own needs to expenses for family medical treatment and caregiving. ChildFund will manage programs while the public service network helps identify eligible participants across all 17 provinces and major cities. The agreement is a support initiative, not a universal cash entitlement for every young carer.
