SK hynix said demand for its DRAM and high-bandwidth memory products through 2029 is effectively sold out, combining signed long-term contracts with customer demand under detailed discussion. The company expects AI infrastructure investment to spread from major technology firms to ordinary businesses and governments, while autonomous driving and robotics could create additional demand over time.
It also said limited memory supply could persist through 2030 and plans to lead the shift toward next-generation HBM4 in the fourth quarter. Alongside the outlook, SK hynix announced a total shareholder-return plan of 100 trillion won for the year, including dividends, additional share buybacks and cancellations.
