Incheon police have referred two people, including a bar owner in his 30s, for detention over allegations that a nightlife business took about 110 million won from 14 customers between July 2024 and September 2025. Investigators said staff encouraged customers to drink heavily, seized their credit cards for large payments, and reported them for alleged nonpayment when cards failed; three other employees were referred without detention.
The case also includes allegations of illegal filming used to threaten two victims, theft of cash from some homes, and a victim with an intellectual disability, while police said they seized packets containing a sedative ingredient and recovered planning messages from phones.
