An Se-young wins second world badminton title

World No. 1 An Se-young beat Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi 2–0 in the women’s singles final in New Delhi, reclaiming the world championship three years after her first title. Korea also won the women’s doubles title through Lee So-hee and Baek Ha-na, the country’s first gold in that event in 31 years. The double success gives Korean badminton one of its strongest world-championship finishes in decades.
