Seo Chaehyun won the women's lead gold medal at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games after becoming the only finalist to complete the route. The South Korean climber finished ahead of Japan's Ai Mori, while China's Zhang Yutong took bronze.

Chaehyun, who had won bronze in bouldering earlier at these Games, secured her first Asian Games gold in her main discipline after taking silver in the combined event at Hangzhou 2022.
