Hanwha Eagles manager Kim Kyung-moon and general manager Son Hyuk will leave the club after the 2026 season, with both contracts ending after the teamโs final game on Oct. 10. Kim, who returned to the dugout with Hanwha in 2024 on a three-year, 2 billion won deal, led the club to second place in the 2025 regular season and its first Korean Series appearance in 19 years, but it lost the series to LG Twins 4-1.
Hanwha entered the finale ninth at 57-4-82 through 143 games, after the pitching staff that had supported the previous season was hit by injuries and poor form.
