KBL acknowledged an officiating error after LG guard Yoon Won-sang scored the winning basket in a 109-107 victory over Sono. Yoon had been substituted out and, under the relevant rule, could not legally return before the ball became dead, but officials allowed his re-entry after Sono tied the game at 107-107 with free throws.
Sono said it would seek a replay, while KBL indicated that the postgame 20-minute protest rule makes a replay difficult and promised disciplinary action and measures to prevent similar errors.
