South Korea’s Education Ministry has explicitly added smart glasses to the examples of items prohibited from College Scholastic Ability Test rooms. The change follows growing concern that AI-enabled glasses could be used to assist cheating. Electronic devices were already broadly banned, but naming smart glasses removes ambiguity for students, schools and proctors ahead of the exam.
