Boston Dynamics is operating a manufacturing training center for its Atlas humanoid robot at Hyundai Motor Group's Georgia Metaplant. The center recreates factory tasks so Atlas can learn logistics preparation and parts sequencing before wider deployment. Hyundai plans to expand the robot's work toward assembly and heavy-material handling by 2030 and has discussed deploying thousands of Atlas units across global sites.
The training center is expected to move into a dedicated facility next year at roughly ten times its current scale.
