Google accounted for 34.81% of South Korea’s average daily internet traffic in 2025, while major overseas platform operators including Netflix, Meta and Apple together reached 47%, up from 38.1% in 2021. Domestic operators including Naver, Kakao, TVING and Coupang also increased their share from 4.5% to 9.27% over the same period.

The figures were submitted by the Ministry of Science and ICT to lawmaker Choi Hyung-du of the National Assembly Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee.
